How to apply for unit pack identifiers?
To apply for unit pack identifiers, you need to launch the ID ISSUER system and log in with your username (login) and password created in the registration process.
You also need to have authorization to apply for unit pack identifiers.
Before you apply for unit pack identifiers, you need to register your business operator and your facility.
After launching the system and logging in, you need to open the list of facilities in the main panel of the ID ISSUER system by clicking on the “FACILITES” tile.
Then you need to select the facility for which identifiers are to be issued from the list, and initiate action “Application for unit pack identifiers” for the selected facility.
You need to fill out all fields in the “Application for unit pack identifiers” form as described in EU Regulation 2018/574, ANNEX II, Chapter II, Section 2, Point 2.1 Request for unit level UIs.
Fields entitled “Operator Code” and “Facility Code” are filled out automatically by the system and they are not subject to modification.
If you need to have the codes generated immediately, without the 24-hour period of waiting for a potential decision of the contracting entity about cancelling the order, you need to give an affirmative answer to the last question in the form: “Generate codes without the possibility of cancelling the request”. In such a case, the system will immediately commence the processing of the application and the codes will be generated right away.
After you have filled out the form, click on the “SUBMIT REQUEST” button. If the data you have provided is correct, the following notice will be displayed in the system:
The confirmation of accepting or rejecting the application is delivered via e-mail to the address provided in the business operator registration form.
As a result of processing the application, the system will generate the requested number of identifier codes. The completion of the process of generating identifier codes will also be confirmed via e-mail.
The registered application is available on the list of applications for identifiers (the option is available only in the form of the content of a dedicated tile on the main page).
